Your Pre-Festival Season Waxing Must-Knows

Spring and summer are my busiest seasons for waxing, largely thanks to festival season! Whether you're heading out for festivals like EDC Las Vegas or staying local for Inkcarceration, there's usually some prep before you go. Here's some tips and tricks I've gathered just from a waxer's perspective!
When should you book your appointment?
There's 2 answers to this question:
Firstly, you should book the appointment as soon as you know your trip dates/when you'll be leaving. Spring/summer appointments fill in fast, so I wouldn't count on night-before booking if you know this is something you definitely want done before you leave.
As for when to book in relation to your trip, I usually suggest at least 2-3 days before you're set to leave. Coming a little in advance gives your skin time to breathe and recuperate before you leave and really minimizes any chances of you experiencing reactions or discomfort during your travel.

If you're like me, maybe you read that headline and your first thought was "What are people doing to prep for a festival?" so this one's for you!
My most popular service will always be brazilian/bikini waxes so aside from that, here are some common services my festival-goers get before a big weekend:
Full leg wax

Lash lift and/or tint
tips for aftercare
Wear loose/flowy clothes to your appointment and for a day or 2 if possible
Pack lots of SPF and be sure to reapply every 2 hours! Make sure you apply it everywhere the sun hits including your bikini line, ears, lips, eyelids, etc
Drink plenty of water (+electrolytes if that's your thing!)! Not only does this keep you healthy and hydrated, but it will keep your skin happy as well. Dehydration + lots of alcohol will give you fine lines real quick!
